Getting started at CFS is pretty simple. It is important for us to know you are training with us because you that is what you want to do (not because you are stuck in a 10 year long contract). Therefore, we first encourage everyone to take advantage of our free Trial Class to give you the opportunity to get to know CFS and make an educated decision on whether or not to join our amazing community.
STEP ONE: Free Trial Class:
In this class you will:
Participate in a "Mini WOD" (Workout of the Day) to get a feel for what it would be like to WOD with CFS!
Again, have a chance to sit down with the Coach and answer any additional questions that may have arisen during your class.
STEP TWO: On Ramp
If you would like to join the CFS community, your next step would be to participate in our "On-Ramp" program. The On-Ramp program consists of 6 group instructional classes (or 3 private sessions), wherein you will learn the foundational movements of CrossFit, as well as some other more techincal movements that we feel better to be taught in the On-Ramp, rather than "on the fly" in the middle of a regular class. There are two options for the On-Ramp:
Group On-Ramp - 6 Group Classes: Runs every two weeks: Monday and Wednesday at 7:30pm and Saturday at 9:00am.
Private On-Ramp - 3 Private Lessons - Scheduled at your convenience with the Coach's availability.
Once the On-Ramp in completed, you then may participate in any CrossFit class you like (CrossFit WOD). You do not need to sign up ahead of time, you do not need to set a schedule with us; just get your butt in and train with us!
SELECT A MEMBERSHIP
If you are joining us from previously working out at another CrossFit Affiliate for atleast 3 months, you may not need to go through the On Ramp to get started. If your previous CrossFit Affiliate can verify that you are proficient in the movements, all you need to do is sign up for one of our monthly membership.
